Waiting on Bob to send my new Fusion slide and frame. At the last minute, I had him bob the frame. Now I'm waiting impatiently for it to ship. :uhoh:
Going to be blued with GI thumb safety and slide release and a bunch of Novak/Ed Brown/EGW parts. Thinking red cocobolo grips.
This are pic thread!

I like the bobtail. It actually makes a difference in concealment and it felt good in my hand.

Here's a photo of my 10mm commander when I first received it from a "gunsmith". You're lucky to be able to perform these tasks yourself to make sure things are done the right way.

I expect this to be my primary carry gun when it comes back home after basically being redone.

I'd post mine, but it looks exactly like 10-Ring's...

Nothin' like an excuse for gratuitous bobtail pics...

I am also really fond of the looks of the Ed Brown Special Forces Carry. Bob Serva (former owner of DW) over at Fusion has also put together some real classy looking bobtails.

I really like the look of bobtails but have never shot one. How do they handle for you guys? I prefer arched mainspring housings but flat ones don't really bother me when shooting. I just keep thinking that with a bobtail it might be a bit troublesome for me.

Mine fits in my hand better because of the bobtail. The flesh part of the palm grips the handle better IMO.

My bobtail is probably the best shootin pistol I got. although the trigger on my beretta is a bit better for me. both sweet tho.
