My new Kahr CW9...broke

I picked up a new CW9 on Tuesday of this week. After I shot 50 rounds, I noticed this chip. I don't remember seeing it when I first got it, relubed it, etc...

I'm guessing it happened somewhere between round 50 and 75, as I now have 75 rounds through it.

not broke at all that little cut out is a proof mark of the mfg-er of that part. They all have it. fear not, your good to go. now just shoot it like u stole it.

The slide does not run on the plastic part of the frame rails. In fact, the front steel frame rails are visible in the photos.

actually those two slide rails your are seeing are all of a onepeace steel insert that is molded insode the grip during production. That dust cover area is stronger than any polymer cover around due to that all being one complete pease. Some have thought that those two rails were separate of eachother. WRONG.
