Army manuals will definitely give you lots of details. The Bushmaster Operating and Safety Instruction Manual will give you the basics on field stripping and cleaning and can be downloaded here. You can download instructions for assembling a lower receiver from AR15.com which will pretty much show you how to put a lower parts kit in should you feel the desire to strip your lower receiver.

The Marine Corp's M-16 Technical Manual is real good.
