New Hunting Rifle Day

Picked this up today.

Its a Sako Finnbear Deluxe, in 7mm Remington Magnum

Very well taken care of, clean one owner. Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x40 scope with Talley steel rings and bases.

The action is smooooooooooth....

Real nice wood on her.

Should be a nice, flat shooter.

Its nice to be able to shoot the "right way" with the bolt on the left side!

Over the years I've shot both. But when I come across something like this, I had to have it.

I had one vitrually identical to it (RH) I traded off maybe 8 or so years ago. It was a great shooter.

I was always scared I'd bang/scratch/ding the thing in the woods.

I reload from time to time. But there are some pretty decent offerings available in 7mm mag, off the shelf.

That's good. Those are a bit pricey to operate.

I haven't looked to see if Hornady carries those in the new Superformance line. Might be worth trying if they do.
