I think you should send that to me for a good testing. The evaluation shouldn't take more than 5yrs to determine if it is safe.

That is too funny. Let me get right on that after I spend the next 5 years testing it myself. I wouldn't want to send you an unsafe weapon. LOL

nice gun. i think my next project is going to be building my first ar15. almost did it around october but wussed out because i didnt have any space in the shop.

range report required.

That is what I was going to do next summer, but my wife just could not pass up the deal she got on it. It came with a 22cal converson bolt, two 22cal mags, four .223 mags, a Truglo scoop, and the heavy duty soft case. All of that for UNDER $800.

The more I think about it, and it has been years and years, the more I believe the AR is the most superior rifle platform ever produced.

Nice gift.

I'm jealous. the scope mounted on a rail adapter on a removable carry handle is kind of amusing

man that is one heck of a deal. let us know how the DPMS does. I am considering using some of their components in my build (if i ever get around to it).

Clearly Santa got the wrong house.... PM me and i'll provide the information for us to clear this up. ;)

NICE!

I got a lower and have been planning the build.

Trust me Santa got the right house. Instead of putting lights out this year I put a huge target on my roof just so he would know which house to come to. LOL
I'll let you know how it shoots as soon as I get it to the range.

That is a good deal! So, what shop?

Hope you enjoy it!
Black Wing Shooting Center in Delaware Ohio. They can be a bit on the expensive side if you don't watch what you buy, but they have some AWESOME deals one some of their used stuff.

ATF gonna be looking for the fat man in the red/white suit... I think that's a Straw purchase on his part.

Again, as long as Santa isn't a prohibited person, purchasing and gifting firearms is legal!

sheesh. ;)

Congrats. Nothing like getting your first AR15. It's been 25 years since I felt the excitement of bringing home my first AR15... but I remember it like it were yesterday. I still have that rifle sitting in the safe. I'll pass it down to my son some day.

I can't wait to go to the range tonight to put some rounds through it. I am so glad it came with the 22 kit. That alone will pay for itself, but trust me I WILL be putting my fair share of 223 rounds through it.

Well I just got from the range and you talk about having fun. I was amazing how fast a couple hundred rounds can go, but when you are having fun what can you say. It was scary accurate. I started off with the 22 to get it on paper, but after a few mags it didn't like the blazer rounds I had several rounds that did not fire. The .223 went through just fine.
