I just got back a steel tube Weaver K6 and it is beautiful, cost 75$ and my postage to them. They are back logged, but the wait was more than worth it.
If Iron Sight does not want to work on it, you can try Parsons. They are very well known for old intricate scope work like Lymans and such Parsons Scope Service doesn't have a web presence, but they do offer target and vintage riflescope repairs. You can contact them here:

I have also used these folks, but you have to stand firm on their "bait & switch". They try to sell you a new scope instead of repairing yours. When they call to offer that, just say you want your old scope and your money back. They will shut up and fix your scope. Did a nice job on a couple of Kassnars I have.

I find the fact that they would do that disturbing. To me that is akin to someone picking your pocket and when you catch them, they hand you your wallet back but cleaner. Someone is either dishonest or they aren't. Which are they? I only make this point and ask this question because my buddy's Dad is looking to have a scope repaired.
