I'm second guessing myself right now though thinking I should have went with the G30. Any of you guys have the 36 and the 30? I'm curious to which one shoots better. I have kind of big hands so I'm worried the slim frame may try to twist in my hands.

I have a G36

I'm 6 feet 3 inches and 300 pounds. I have large hands. The G36 doesn't "feel" as good in my hands as my other Glocks but it is the thinest Glock in the line up. It was intended for CCW and fits that bill very nicely. It offers me plenty of gun to hold on to. You will not need the Pearce grip extensions that would be necessary with the G26 or G27 due to the configuration of the floor plate on the magazine. Don't second guess yourself...you made a good choice. Just practice with it on a regular basis.

I am still waiting for the uniformed government currier to deliver my supertuck deluxe, so I haven’t found out how it carries yet.
But so far I think I am gonna love my G36. It shoots pretty strait and hasn’t missed a beat yet. The recoil is not as bad as I
thought it would be for such a light gun. I am still getting used to the trigger though.
Anyway, great gun.

I shot one as a rental and it actually performed quite well. .45 Auto recoil is more of a "push/shove" and more comfortable than the "snappy" .40 S&W. I would like the G36 better if it had an extra round or two and did away with the short frame/extended magazine design oddity, but that is just personal taste.
