Anybody seen any of this? Appears to be a new brand of budget reloading equipment. I'm guessing Made in China at the prices I'm seeing, but can't confirm. I notice that they have a C style steel-framed press that seems to be listed for $20. Other odds and ends like tricklers, digital scales, tumblers, etc. I don't see any dies or anything as of yet.

As said - anyone used any of this stuff? Only item I'd probably be interested in would be the digital scale. MAYBE the cheapy press. Already got 2 single-stages on the bench but at $30 I might would throw a 3rd one of there just as I could setup an additional die for miscellaneous stuff.

I have not tried any of their products but I did a Google search and I think they are in NC. They claim to be US made. I think they are listing Cabela's as a Distributor but I don't know if Cabela's retail division has their equipment yet. I guess we will see.

Regards,

Parent company headquartered in Italy, many of their products made in china. Bascially junk, but if you wish to support off-shore manufacturing by a foreign company they are the place to go.

Suggestion, spend a few dollars more and buy Lee, made right here in the U.S.A. with American labor, and American materials.

One big issue for me with Smart Reloader products is their return policy to Italy! Also, how am I going to get a written shipping damage report from the delivery person when they leave my boxes at the front door?

I am not dissing the Smart Reloader products as I do not have experience with their products, just that I have really gotten spoiled by various domestic reloading equipment manufacturers/vendors excellent customer service.

Most of their products are reverse engineered copies of American reloading equipment. That "C" press is an exact copy of a lee. Calling it junk is insulting good junk!

I bought the digital scale, being on a tight budget like most. It's not terrifically accurate, so expect it to only be within +/-.2 grain. With a .4 grain spread, it's not accurate enough for weighing powder.

I ended up not liking it and use an RCBS balance beam scale to verify powder weight.

Reloading equipment is not a Wal Mart item.

Well, that's not really true, as the Walmart in Galax, VA has a good supply of RCBS equipment, including different press models, scales and shelves of dies. They have a good stock of cases, bullets and even some primers.
I realize that more of them do not stock reloading equipment than do, but I'm glad that Galax Walmart gives me that option.
