Smart Reloader products?

Based on actual experience posts, customer service with domestic brands have been much better than average and often exceptional.

Has anyone had any customer service experience with Smart Reloader products? Only warranty/return policy I could find on their website is 30 days (with 25% restocking fee) to Italy!!! How much does it cost to ship anything to Italy? And if there is any freight/shipping damage, we must have the delivery driver note the damage IN WRITING and then deal with the delivery company. So, if you buy a Smart Reloader product and it breaks after 30 days, you just bought a "disposable" equipment? :uhoh:

If you are not satisfied with a product, you may return it to us within 30 days of receipt for an exchange, replacement or refund.

Merchandise being returned for replacement or credit should be sent pre-paid to:

SMARTRELOADER.COM
c/o Prima Armi Srl.
Viale Kennedy 8
I-10064 Pinerolo (TO)
Italy

If you decide you want a refund because you ordered the wrong merchandise or any causes not due to error by Smartreloader.com, there will be a 25% stocking fee and shipping & handling fees will not be refundable.

Damaged Freight/Truck line Merchandise:

Do not return items damaged during shipping to Smartreloader.com. We are not responsible for freight/shipping damage, and cannot assist you with your claim.

Inspect your order immediately and completely while your delivery driver is present. If you discover any freight/shipping damage, please do not email Smartreloader.com. Have your delivery driver note the damage in writing and contact the delivering company to file your claim. They will take the necessary steps to reimburse you. If you do not follow this procedure, the carrier may not honor your claim and the loss will become your sole responsibility.

I one wants value for their dollars spent, simple, purchase Lee, made right here in the U.S.A., and backed by an American Company, helping to keep our own folks working.
What more do you want?

Shipping an item to Italy would more than likely exceed the price of the product. Take into account a 25% restocking charge and I'm pretty sure you would loose money.

jcwit has a good point - Dollar for dollar and apples to apples, Lee is just tough to beat.

Especially when delivery drivers often leave the package boxes at the door, how are we going to get the written report of shipping damage?

Even in US Dollars their pricing is high. If you compare just the Lee pistol dies they are $20 high than the factory sight. I will stick with what we have here in the US.
