I would be grateful if you could pass this on to anyone you know at Trijicon.

In January, I bought a Beretta PX4 Storm. At the same time I purchased Trijicon Night Sights. Target World did not have the equipment to install them so I called Trijicon. Following their instructions I sent Trijicon the slider and their night sights for installation.

It is now over a month and I still don't have them back. E-mails to them go unanswered and when I call them they untruthfully say they will call you back which they never do. No company that I know of with service this bad has ever stayed in business.

I would be grateful if you know someone who can pass it on to someone Trijicon who can help me.

Thanks

Norm

BS....What does ACOG,,,Aircraft On Ground have to do with Trijicon?

When a person purchases a product from a company they don't expect it to take six months to install something they can do in thirty minutes....

Michigan has one of the highest employment rates in the nation...They can staff for it.

If Trijicon had any ethics at all and if they were/are too busy to install the product they sell to their customers...All they would have to do is tell them to go someplace else.

Replacing the tritium element was quoted at $147 for a Reflex sight (I have two that are getting dim after 11 years). Seems like Trijicon likes to make money, and customers be damned. For all the batteries I would have bought in 11 years for an Aimpoint, I'll switch to an Aimpoint. It couldn't have been $147 worth of batteries over 11 years, had I had the Aimpoints to begin with.

I'd call them and cancel the install, tell them you'll shop elsewhere for sights, and have them send you slide back. They might, then, finish your order.

Trijicon is a manufacturer not a local gun shop. They are located about 7 minutes from my house. The thought of having them install sights would have never crossed my mind. There are gun shops abound that will do the job at a minimal cost. When you called did they quote you an estimated time?

It is worse than that. I bought a PX4 Storm and the Tricon Night Sights at the same time at local shop. The shop had the equipment to put the Tricons on a Glock but not a Beretta. So I went to Tricon direct followed Tricon's instructions to the "T" and sent both the Tricons and the Beretta slider to them.

Five weeks later I don't have them back. Tricon doesn't answer e-mails and when you call them they don't have answers and say they will call you back which of course is a lie because they don't. This companies employees do not have intregrity.

Sorry to hear about your situation, that sucks.

I'd suggest seeing if a stocking dealer, maybe the one you bought the gun from even, can intervene on your behalf. Sometimes they are a little higher up the food chain.

And if all the dealer did was buy from a distributor, he may be able to get someone at the distributor to shake it up.

It's disgraceful to treat a customer the way you have been treated, good luck getting it resolved to your satisfaction soon.

Thanks for your comment. Someone sent me a private message with the name and number of a peron to contact at Trijicon. I believe this is legit and hopefully a conclusion will be reached.

I've never had such a difficult time trying to give a company my money.

I'm having a bit of a loss to wonder what "special" equpment is need to install Trijicons on a Beretta Storm over a Glock??
I have an MGW Universal sight pusher and it will do the sights on darned near any dovetailed slide out there including Sig and H&K,,,,

Trijicon produces absolutely wonderful stuff but Military and Law Enforcement gets precendence over ALL civilain orders, not to be offensive to the civilian customers, because they know there are plenty of independent gunsmiths who are capable of installing their sights out of house.

This is just me speaking but I would think if your gun shop is going to offer the sights for retail sale AND offers an installation but only on SOME guns they are frankly missing the boat or have some sort of an agenda,,,,

i am with others here in that I would never sind anything away for sites. Why not check and see if meprolight has what you want ,they also use the same companies tritium insert in there product. They have a slicker look'n site to many also. Heck a local back yard smithy could changed your sites in 10 inutes. 20 if glue in front site.

I agree with you 100 percent. My hindsight is 20/20. If Trijicon would have told me it would have taken this long I would have chosen to go someplace else.

I would also say that if they knew independent gunsmiths who are capable of installing their sights they could have turned down my business and recommended them. If they were really smart they would make a deal with a third party vendor and profit from things like this.

They never informed me how long this would take and hung me out to dry. It is going on six weeks and I am still without my slider.

Well now you know for sure, get your gun back . Order a meprolight from midway or someone like that and buy a basic site pusher and do it your self or ask around for a local side job smithy that can do it for 10 buck.

littlebluevet, believe me, I feel your pain.
Get the sale, regardless of how it may affect the end user.

little blue vet i hope for your sake you have the full size or sub compact px4 or your in for an even bigger disappointment because they dont even make one for the compact model which has a wider cut than the others and cancel your order the range up in vandalia has them in stock and will install them for free and the sights are right at ninety dollars, and supposedly beretta requires a special tap to remove and install sights without damaging them, and vandalia is right about an hour drive from target world... And congratulations on making it out of target world alive... That place is dangerous and the people who work there are jerks

That is interesting what you say because after five and one half weeks I acutally talked with someone at Trijicon who lived up to their word and responded. They said they are having an issue front sight and will be getting back to me on Tuesday.

i bet they are, they are idiots ive been there and dealt with them already, hopefully you didnt get a slide that was cut wrong like mine which is still at beretta waiting to be replaced which might take months because they have been on back order since august, but atleast the guy at the repair shop is trying to get beretta to just swap me out for a new gun

what are the odds... i just got this email today in response to my email from over a month ago

Dear Cory,
Sorry for the delay in responding. It was just brought up to our attention about 2 weeks ago that the cut on the compact slides were machined improperly. We are talking with Berretta about this and we hope to have this issue resolved soon. Thank you for your interest in Trijicon products. Have a good day.
Sincerely

Finally got a reply from Trijicon. It appears the cut goes all the way thru the shifter. Hopefully it won't take Trijicon another six weeks and I'll get my shifter back if a few days and I'll never have to deal with that company again.

Please return the slider with the original sights installed on the slider along with the Trijicon Night Sight that I purchased and I will take it up with Target World in Colmar Pa. I am frustrated that it took you company six weeks to figure this out and trust it won’t take another six weeks for the return of my slider.
Thanks
Norm

Subject: FW: Beretta slide

Good Morning Norman

We sincerely apologize for the delay you are experiencing. We have come to find out that your pistol slide among others of course, has an odd opening under the front sight. This opening is wide enough that our Night Sight does not cover all of it. We were hoping to have information from Beretta in this regard before now. Take a look at the provided image, zoom in on the slide to the left. We are willing to install your sights at no charge under these conditions and return to you with your approval.

Respectfully
