Sure it's not American Western Arms? If it is, it's made by Pietta. Quality is hit and miss. I wouldn't pay more than $300 for a used one. Preferably less.
American Arms was the importer. The revolver is made by Uberti. These guns were the least expensive of the imported revolvers twenty years ago. I have two of them.
The pictured revolver has much better case colors than mine had but both have the same tacky proof marks and Cat number on the right side of the frame. My revolvers had rough actions and needed and received an action job. Since that time I've put many thousands of BP rounds through them. Mine are quite accurate and have been very satisfactory firearms.
I purchased these guns because I intended to shoot black powder cartridges through them and that can be tough on a gun's finish even if you try to be very prompt in cleaning. I didn't want to subject my Colts to that. But I wouldn't worry too much about an inexpensive revolver. New price at the time was around $230. When American Arms went out of business, remaining stock was sold for $200.
Value? These are probably the least valuable of the many replicas available. I certainly wouldn't sell mine for the market price, but I wouldn't expect more than $275 -300. if I did.
