First - after reading several of your posts, learn to use the damn spell check, otherwise you come off as a teenage mall ninja wannabee.............sorry, but your posts hurt my eyes and make me wonder about your maturity level

Mini shotshells are readily available, use Google and you'll find several types

I am sorry for my immaturity in my posts, I currently use my Cellular Telephone For a large quantity of my posts. How do you use your spell check? and I have never been compared to that as because one im a redneck and two i know more on firearms then anyone I know personally.

And I would like some powder Load info and case dementions....... and im sorry regarding the spelling, Thank you for your help on my other posts......

You need to use your Google search function - there is plenty of load data out there - to trust anything except the published data is foolish - there are also several companies who sells those shells. Look at RST, BPI, Polywad, Hodgdon and Alliant

As to the spell check, the words are underlined in red when misspelled easy enough to check and correct.

Agulia loads mini-12ga shells. They don't work very well in any pump I've tried 'em in, they have a tendency to swap ends when they come out of the magazine onto the shell lifter, so single or double barrels are your best bet. I haven't seen any loading data for them.

Boltgunnerguy, hang in there, we'll have answers for you.

First, as stated, using handloads for defense leaves one a bit more vulnerable post incident. It gives some lawyer a leverage he/she can convince a jury( who have been picked so as to eliminate any pro gun folks) you've a bloodthirsty sociopath who was just out to kill someone and the perp was trying to turn his life around.

This is why even though I've worked up some effective HD loads using just 6 00 pellets I keep my 870s fed with factory loads of 8 pellet R/R stuff. The little loads have plenty of moxie inside the house and pattern well with picayune kick, but I'm leary of using them. If they ever come from a major maker, I'll use them then.

Second, inside the house even breath mints at 1200 FPS will work. But, we cannot predict the time, distance or conditions of our next firefight. We're better off setting up for the worst case scenario and preparing to be able to effectively neutralize a threat at greater distances.

HTH....

A couple of companies already mentioned make the "mini" shells...
but be advised that they do not work properly in ALL guns

The Mossberg/Maverick pump guns withe the 'skeleton' shell lifter...BZZZT Wrong! don't work. Tried them in both my Mossy 500 and Maverick 88.

In a Rem 870/ or Win 1200/1300 or Ithaca 37..try them and see.

Oneounceload: Roll crimping a shell is a matter of a second or two. I do not use a drill press/roll crimper, though I have both and have used them; I use this:

or this:

Antique crimp tools which, believe it or not, are faster than the drill press and make a better crimp.

So nice to work with gentlemen.

Thanks for your forbearance re our new bee. I have profited from these posts. I am wanting to load .444 fire-formed brass @ 2 3/4" lengths for pers. def. loads in Taurus Judge magnum cylinder. You have given me a place to start. Thanks. L1S1
