Stevens/savage 10 accuracy

I will have to see what it does with some more testing but my 7-08 will shoot a 1/2 MOA with hand loads. From what I have read, they are quite accurate in other calibers as well.

I have a 26" 10fp that shoots under 1 inch @100 yards. It often does much better, half inch is not uncommon.

I have fired several other savages in .308 and they have been inch or better rifles...so call that the average.

1" or smaller groups at 100yd, with factory ammunition, assuming you do your part.

There is a catch with a Stevens 200 that can impact accuracy:

The factory tupperware stock sucks.

Glass bedding will help, but replacing the stock as funds allow will be better. That said, there are pictures all over the net of bone-stock S200s putting factory ammo (that the rifle likes) into half inch 5 shot groups.
