I have a gen3 G21SF that I'd like to put some better grips on. I'd like to steer clear of grip sleeves if possible.

Who do you think has the best stick on grips for this?

Go to Walmart and buy a bicycle innertube. Use a sharp pair if scissors and cut off a 2-3" long section. Slide it over the grip and trim where necessary with a sharp knife or exacto blade. Best aftermarket grip for a Glock at any price. If you mess up you have plenty of material. All my Glocks and several other guns have the same grips as well as my AR's. Still have about 1/2 of that innertube.

Google up talon grips and decal grips for reviews. There is another that it's kind of like a felt but I can't remember the name. I believe the decal grips come in both sandpaper-like and rubber. I would hou with the rubber, I tried the sand paper type and well it worked like sand paper. Also you can go to home depot and look for stock down non slip tape as it is the same stuff and make your own.

Well drat, it appears that Talon grips are no longer accepting new orders.... They look like just what I'm looking for though.

I've tried the felt-like grips, slip on sleeves, bicycle innertube, and hardware store do-it -yourself skateboard tape grips.
I have since found my favorite...easy to apply, cheap, looks like heck, works great...wait for it....tactical hockey tape!

Evidently someone within the Talon Grips family has passed away, and it sounds like they're trying to get the business sorted out while dealing with the loss as well.

Further reading indicates that Derik, the founder and owner of Talon Grips has died unexpectedly. Several sources mention an automobile accident.

Very sad, he seemed like a great guy.

Theres always stippling. :)

I tried the store bought grip tape offerings and found them all to be lacking. Skateboard tape is cheaper and allows you to custom fit your gun.

Once I got up the nerve to stipple my first, I was hooked. The effectiveness of the stippling is amazing. The whole grip is like a cats tongue.

I second the stippling - I've stippled every Glock I've ever owned (course I'm a 1911 guy and they always end up getting sold). There are many different "designs" of stippling, in varying levels of aggressiveness, you can tailor it to your taste, and you can put it where you need it and omit it where you don't want it.

I shoot no Agripless Glocks. Best stuff ever made for covering a grip, in my humble opinion. Worst idea for a Glock, again, in my humble opinion, is takng a soldering iron to the grip. Agrip grips great when wet, and when it comes in contact with your nekked skin, it doesn't abrade, like skateboard tape, etc.

I developed a fondness for X-Treme grips from Powder River Precision.
They're laser cut to fit your gun precisely. I've got them on my XDM's and Glocks. I've tried both their rubberized version and their "skateboard tape" versions. I prefer the rubber. The skateboard tape version is very aggressive and really didn't fit my particular needs. Also, Powder River gives good service. You might consider these with the other choices members have provided.

Thanks a lot guys, that gives me a lot to look at. I've thought about stippling, but I think I would rather do something a little less permanent until I find exactly what I like. Some of the more rubberized stick on applications look really promising.

I shot my new G31 with Decal grips today. Reminded me again of why I like them so much. I can't wait until my grips get here for my 17, 27, and 21.

I used to use step tread tape and make my own, got so good at it I made quite a few for customers and friends, but once I tried stippling, all I can say is that you should save your money spent on store bought items and buy a cheap soldering pen, do yourself that favor
