Another thread got me curious to look up some prices on ammotogo.com and something just didn't quite look right to me. I'm seeing CCI minimag solids for the same price as other bulk ammo, about .05/rnd. Did the cheapies get more expensive or have minimags just gotten so popular that the price came down? Been a while since I've bought 22 ammo (got a few thousand rounds laying around the house that are still waiting to get shot).

I'm only seeing it on there for $6.95/100 or $31.95/500. Am I missing something? I've only seen Mini-Mag prices go up lately.

Also, I still think SGAmmo has some of the best prices around. I'm waiting for 5k rounds of CCI Standard Velocity .22lr, got it for $262 shipped (just over 5 cents a round). Not a bad price if you're looking for some good middle-of-the-road, quality .22lr.

100 rnds for .07 and 500 for .06 per round, winchester superX is a penny cheaper. I remember the gap being somewhat larger last year.

Maybe SuperX prices went up then, cause I buy nothing but CCI for my .22lr for the most part, and I've noticed relatively consistent prices.

hmm, yea, can't remember what I sprang for my last box of 555s from wallyworld, I seem to remember looking at .03 per round but I can't verify that. Interesting though. Prolly gonna do a LOT of shooting when I get home (wife will be in NY when I get in, hehehe) so I may think about upgrading my stocks. Too bad I can't reload 22, though I burn through them so fast I'm not sure I would be able to keep up, lol.

The Federal Automatch bulk is a real good buy on that site for 5 cents/round.
