M1908 Brazilian Masuer Firing Pin Replacement

As a child I had a 1908 Brazilian Mauser, and I idiotically sheared the tip off of the firing pin. I have let the rifle sit for more than a decade, and am now interested in replacing the firing pin, but I need some information to find the right part.

1. Is the firing pin for the 1908 Mauser interchangeable with any other Mauser model? Perhaps the more common Gew 98?

2. Where can spare parts for these rifles be found? Other than a $60 "improved" firing pin from Midway, I see very few surplus parts for sale. Am I merely looking in the wrong places?

Now, to find a decent 7x57 or 30-06 barrel...

Wow, I had no idea there would be further modifications necessary to rechamber to 30-06. This rifle is something of an heirloom, so I am not going to permanently modify any parts.

So, it seems, I will be looking only for a replacement 7x57 barrel. Unfortunately, the 3 or 4 places I checked so far were sold out.
