There is a range in Tilden, WI that is open to the public. This would be about 1/2 hours drive from downtown Eau Claire. They only charge for parking which is $3 per day or $15 per year. The range has a rifle side that is 100 yards and I pistol side which is 25 yards.

There is another great rifle club in Eau Claire that is private. It is only $35 a year and the range is 600 yards long! Once you join you get your own keys to the range. During the summer they have league shooting for various rifle types.

Lauer custom weaponry in Lake Hallie is the best shop in Western Wisconsin, Lake Hallie is virtually Chippewa Falls, and about ten miles north of Eau Claire. Lauer is a class III manufacturer, as well as a great gun shop, though they are only open to the public on certain days.

They are the guys that manufacture "Duracoat."
