Believe it or not I picked up a 3d hi-cap mag for the shield easier than any mag for the compact. I traded the shield for the compact. I didn't need 4 guns that were that small, the xds now goes in the pocket, and if I throw on the extended 7 round mag and a tac light, it becomes a standard size gun.
I put a light on it today and it was a good deal, the AIM 140 lumen light with the spring lock mount, fits any rail under $40 bucks, amazon had it for 32, but I needed to see it on the gun. Now I need a couple 17 rounder's and an x grip, like my 26. It's just nice to have the capability to go to a 8 or 18 round capacity from a 6-10 round gun.
I use a glock 19 mag on my 26, and it really handles great. But these prices are like robbing a bank, I almost went for the Viridian 5cl, but $300 is just too much for a flashlight with a laser attached, bad enough it cost $35 bucks for some xst's or gold dots after going through the entire show.
I think we need to stop paying 50 bucks a box for freaking range ammo. If we buy it they will keep selling it, they were getting a dollar a round by the case. Now we all know how much PMC 9mm costs.
I spoke to a lot of shooters of all ages, at the show, and every one has cut down on their ability to shoot like they had been or would like to as they always did.
But the darn boxes were Wall-Mart ammo doubled in price, that should be illegal to resell.
What is the Govt doing with all of our stuff?
Meanwhile there were more AR's and AK's in the $8-900 range, than ever before, and $299 for pistol grip Mossberg 12 gauges on sale from shoot straight, amazing what a few weeks will do
