congratulations I see all the questions that were asked really seem to be paying off. Keep up the good work and don't get silly with pressures. You're most definitely on your way. That looks like an '06 load but I could be mistaken, if so happy hunting.

Very nice shooting! What kind of powder are you using? Is that H414? I don;t use anything like it, so I can;t guess from the target writing.

I think you will find that H414 and 4350 perform very near the same, the 414 is much easier to meter. If you are weighing charges, the 4350 might be easier to use.

Congrats and there is a lot of satisfaction from shooting your own ammo.

Rem700,

If I were you, I wouldn't change one single thing ! If my first reloads shot like yours are doing, looks like the reload gods are smiling big time! :D Seriously, you must have listened and did things right, one couldn't ask for more than what you've already produced. Excellent shooting too!

Rem700, you have been a good student of handloading, I have followed your questions on here. Looks like it has paid off for you. Great job!! Have you shot factory ammo in it? You should post those results also to help other people that are on the fence about the "value" of reloading. Again, great job!

Hey Rem700! It looks like your reloading skills are better than your typing skills. Check out your thread's title, "my rirst reloads".
I think you made the best of it though. Given the choice between bad reloading skills resulting lost fingers and bad typing skills resulting in gentle ribbing from fellow posters I think you done good.

Congrats on your reloads.

Dan

Yes, like said above, H414 will deliver similar results to H4350 and IMR4350. H414 meters well because it's a ball powder but it's also temperature sensitive whereas H4350 is not.

BTW, H414 = W760...

Nice to see things coming to fruition. Certain satisfaction when things come together isn't there. All your questions that I ever saw were good solid and well thought out questions. Nice going and congratulations on a job well done.

Ron

Yep, I'm not very good with my old Sigma 40F but I remember how it felt not long ago when I discovered my second recipe actually went where I wanted it to. Very happy feeling, congrats! :)

IMR 4350 is excellent powder in the 30-06 class of cartridges.
