Seems that a majority of Americans want the U.S. Senate to move on and not try to revive the defeated gun control bill. Not surprisingly more women than men wanted the Senate to vote again. However, the majority of people were in favor of individual gun control measures to ban “unspecified” assault weapons and magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. It is interesting that so many ignorant people want to ban weapons that they cannot even identify. What kind of world are we living in where no one seems to want to spend any time researching things that they want to ban and yet will spend the day protesting against that which they are ignorant about? " there are two ways to conquer and enslave a country. One is by the sword, the other is by debt."-John Adams

They are running a double front attack. Disarm the populace so they can't fight back, and keeping the economy poor so more people depend on govt assistance.... A little tin foil hatty, sure..... But the fact that could be true is somewhat a cause for concern.

I am just ready for the presidential elections. I really hope people are intelligent about how they vote. Everyone needs to try to help educate "anit-gunners" maybe we can convert em. I doubt it but its worth a shot to have less ignorance in this country.

And how do you educate someone who believes that all firearms owners are "Irresponsible" and in order to carry a firearm in public needs SEAL Team 6/ SAS level training? I know I have tried and I have stated facts to them and I have shown them the raw US Government data on the subject yet they still believe the bovine waste that comes from such groups as the Brady crowd, VPC and Occupy the NRA.

It seems that with a lot of the Anti-gun crowd I have met Civilian Disarmament is a cornerstone of their religion. By stating the real facts to them you are attacking their religion and they respond with all the hatred of a religious fanatic who is going forth to convert by the sword.

Well, I don't believe this is conspiracy in the sense that there are people committed to bringing down the USA. I don't think Obama, or Holder, or Feinstein, etc. hates the USA.... I think that they believe banning guns, pursuing crushing debt as a form of stimulus, and making people dependent on the government in direct ways (food subsidies, housing subsidies, etc.) is a good thing.

They aren't evil. They are stupid. Morons in fact (well, except for Bloomberg. I'm pretty sure he is evil and he knows it).

Focusing directly on the issue of guns, it shouldn't surprise anyone that Americans want them to focus on something other than guns right now in the Senate. Even people who support draconian gun controls would have to admit that the ongoing economic woes we are having, along with the very real scandals of this administration are more pressing than AWB 2.0
