That is a good deal. They run sales on that set up from time to time. It has good specs and a great red dot. I like PSA stuff. They sale good stuff at a good price. Shipping has got much better lately. I believe they build to order. It will probably tae a few weeks to arrive.

Grab it. PSA has slow shipping, but great quality and the best prices around on Milspec AR's. The optic is about $370 on sale, so the rifle is really only $830. They are champagne on a beer budget.

It is a good deal and they have quality stuff. You may have to wait a while to receive it, but you definitely will get it. The crappy thing with them is they charge you instantly, no matter when they are actually shipping.

Here's a pic of my full PSA build. Everything was purchased from PSA, including the optic. Shoots MOA with cheap ammo and the Aimpoint (gotta love the FN barrel).

I've had on for about a year now and have had no problems. It's just your standard mil-spec AR. I know of someone that had an issue with their PSA rifle and the customer service was lack luster to say the least. They don't seem to stand behind their products all that well from my limited experiance.

I'll be keeping mine but won't be in the market for anymore PSA products.

I have done well with PSA parts. I have a midlength upper and it has been find with me, I've got to lowers.

that's a pretty good deal, I would personally opt for one of the $700 ones and slap a 50 dolalr red dot on it and call it a day but that's just me.

I have thousands of rounds through a PSA rifle. No probs whatever. They make good stuff. I also have 4 of their lowers. G2G as well.

Some people complain with slow shipping but they have always had my item to me in less time than stated. My last purchase was their 4th of July sale for 10mags and stripped lower for $150. Package was in my hand in less than a week. YMMV.

I don't have a PSA AR, but if I were going to get an AR, I'd probably consider PSA. The name of the company and the cannons making up its logo are interesting for historical reasons.

The Palmetto State is nickname refers to South Carolina's official State Tree, the Sabal Palmetto. The Palmetto is rooted in historical significance dating back to the Revolutionary War. On June 28, 1776, the British fleet's attack on Sullivan's Island was repulsed. The palmetto-log fort, under Colonel William Moultrie, withstood the barrage of British cannons until the fleet retreated. The Sabal Palmetto (Inodes Palmetto), commonly referred to as the Cabbage Palmetto, was added to the National flag of South Carolina, after it seceded from the Union in 1861.

This all adds to the "cool-factor" of the PSA AR.

That doesn't look like all that great a deal. Aimpoint Pros could be had for $350 shipped recently, so you're paying $850 for the rifle. That's getting close to what you can get a Colt 6920 for.

I have a PSA midlength upper and it's high quality at a great price. I've bought other things from them and had a couple mixups but everything was resolved to my satisfaction. I plan to get another upper from them.

Highly recommended. Considering the optic included that's a really good price but with PSA you tend to expect a lot for your money.

I don't know where the prices are for ARs right now, but I can say that PSA seems to make good stuff. Mine has been flawless since day one.

I agree with Black Butte. I'd bide my time until the Mid length with the improved A2 barrel is on the same sale (another configuration they make, and they do sales very regularly and with rotating product). You'll have a smoother, better handling gun and worth more in the future as the "m4forgery" fad wears off.

That is, unless you actually HAVE a grenade launcher... ;)

At that price, I'd get a colt 6720 for that or slightly less, then save for an optic of my choice later. I'd still have carbine gas, but I'd have the right barrel profile and a slightly better built gun.

It is a good deal... Same price as a Colt costs WITHOUT an optic, and its basically the same specs. But I would prefer the mid length model. I know they are out of stock though.

I have put together 3 PSA rifles, and all are good to go. A couple have been used in cross country run n guns in dirty conditions, and have been great.

Nice video. Kinda makes you wonder what they edited out though.... However, being a milspec AR, they are one of the toughest rifles made. That lower would probably still have been functional after the explosion if they had a magazine inserted to prevent the well from crushing/deforming.

As long as they properly assemble that rifle and don't, say, use the wrong length gas tube.
