I'm sure they do but would you rig that? He actually bows a hole in the brim of his hat. There are several where a guy tries to do a fast draw and shoots himself. They show the resulting gunshot would.

I suspected it was rigged after watching the replay. Alot of spray out of the gun which I don't believe would occur with a real live cartridge.
Could have had the hole in the hat before the "shot" we really can't see the bill of the hat until the end. How big is that hole and what was the caliber of the gun? 410 maybe?
Where is the stippling from powder burns? Should have stippling within ten feet. The replay shows a lot of flame shooting out, The guys eyes should have been powder burned. Yet he was able to see to pick up the gun.
The replay shows a jump in action as if the video was creatively spliced.
At 14 I was involved in a hunting accident and fortunately only had pellets into the FO covering layer of my hat. It was more than enough to make me very respectful of how to handle guns.

I call fake. The last thing in the world this guy would do after almost being shot would be to pick up the offending weapon. You probably could not pay him enough money to touch it.

I call fake as there is NO powder smoke at all when he "shoots himself". Yes in the replay you see something exit the barrel but no smoke hangs in the air as it does with his first shots. At that angle, with his head position, even with a full choke shotgun, he'd a been hit.
