Thx, its my first. I'm currently working on SBR'ing a Zastava PAP M92 in 7.62x39. Should have pics before the end of next year, given the way things are going @ ATF

Finally I can share!

This is a .45 ACP barrel ~11".
I will be shortening the barrel even more and threading it (length was to keep me over 26" in previous "firearm" configuration so I could use a vertical front grip). Official configuration is a 10mm with 13.5" barrel. That block on the rail is a brass catcher mount. The barrel and carrier are filthy. I'm probably up to 1000 rds without cleaning and it seems like accuracy is just beginning to suffer. I wanted to prove the absolute reliability of the MechTech with the short barrel but will now give it a through cleaning. Never had a hiccup. Mags are 25+ round extensions for the Kriss Vector. I fit 28 rounds. I will also experiment with the Korean 27 rounders (as I hear they are much easier to convert to 10mm).

They call it a Lupara ("for the wolf") in Sicily. Some call it a "Bear Claw" (which to me is a pastry). I call it the hind leg of an angry mule--the harder your grip the less you get kicked.

I wanted a single trigger one so I did not have to reposition my hand to change triggers making single hand use possible. I found that it is physically impossible not to double when firing one handed with buckshot. In fact, it doubles as a single sound. Trying as hard as I could to squeeze the trigger and keep it back just changes the double from a single sound to a discernable 2-shot "burst". Point of impact does not change much. One time, and I'm not sure how (arm may have been too straight and not tight), when shooting single handed, it turned in on me as I instinctively danced around it. I deliberately test fired it in the middle of nowhere not at a public range (which I would have been kicked off of). Fortunately it had already doubled before it turned. I will not be shooting it one handed anymore with 9-pellet 00 unless the left barrel is empty--it's not safe. I have yet to try reduced loads.

The knuckle of my ring finger took a beating until I experimented with how to hold it (a slight gap between middle finger and the trigger guard and hold really tight). The next day I realized it had aggravated my trigger finger (but I'm allowed another 2 cortisone shots before having to resort to surgery). I had to abandon the idea of using gloves--too slippery. It did not kick nearly this hard when I had it at an intermediate length (18.5") barrel. I had previously found 3" 00 magnum loads and slugs tolerable with just another 6.5" of barrel.

I shot 25 rounds of bird shot and 25 rounds of buckshot. I shot 5 hot high brass #4 hunting loads that were very hard to eject due to low break-open leverage and the rest was a 50/50 mix of commodity 00 (Estate and Olin "military grade"--which is just fiber wad Super-X with a green/black shell). The forestock wood became loose and I need to look into securing it better--possibly bedding it and Locktighting the screws.

Another Configuration

I ordered this stock (Fab Defense GLR-17/440) right after getting my stamp. It arrived from Israel today.
It is fairly rigid and the mount to the Glock very rigid.

It is very well designed, very ergonomic. "Length of pull" seems a little long until one take into account the distance a pistol is normally held and the sight radius. It's feels like original (not modified) Weaver stance plus a shoulder mount and cheek weld. This thing was well thought out. So light and short when collapsed, I think I'm going to look for a holster that works with the thing on.

Finished another one (Rem 870 12.5")

Rem 870 12.5" barrel. Tri-rail, TLR-4 Laser/light, 250 Lumen light on side with dazzle strobe mode.
I have to add some material to the front underside of the red dot mount to raise it up a bit to align with the bore.
I plan to thread it for Win chokes.

The scope ring holding the side mount strobe light also broke!

I got to handle a SBRed AK pistol today and was very happy with the balance. I may have to make one. The stock folder to the port side and did not block the safety.

The stock folder to the port side and did not block the safety.

I had the option with the ACE stock & hinge, but I choose right side for two reasons -- I prefer the release to push down instead of up, and more practically to keep the left side nice and flat for carrying slung over my shoulder against my back.

I was careful to make sure the stock didn't interfere so it could be shot folded, taking it off safe when folded is not the easiest, but its doable because there is space between the safety and the stock tube.

I love shooting this thing and that cheap "fake" Krinkov style break is very effective. Shooting it off sandbags as a pistol while waiting for my stamp, the muzzle jumped like a 6" .44Mag with full house 240gr loads, with the brake the recoil was so straight back I skinned my elbow on the bench.

Here's my SBR with an Allen Engineering AEM4. This picture is actually on the AE website!

I like your TNW ASR, I hope to find one of the new ASP and add an SB-15 as I'm getting burned out with the long waits for SBRs.
