Found Item at Swan Creek Target Range - AL

Long story, but I set my carry 1911 on my pickup bumper once while at the gun club. This is a 560 acre private club. Drove around the place an alarming amount before I remembered my pistol on the bumper. Screeched to a stop and jumped out, and my poor lil' Roscoe was clinging onto the bumper for dear life. Filthy with dust and scared to death, but he was still there!

I've found stuff there before that people have forgotten, and found wallets and purses before too when I was younger. I always make every effort to find the owners, it's always appreciated and makes that person's day. Feels good too.

Thank you for being an honest person. I one time left a firearm at the range. I never recovered it. My fault, I know.

A+ for TenDriver for being honest and posting that you found it, most people would probably just have kept it.

Honesty is the best policy.

Funny but I found a wad of cash on Rio Salado's main range near the 25yd line. I had a found notice posted on the range cork board for about 6 weeks with my phone number and asking for the approximate amount and approximate shooting position #.

Did not get a single call or text. Not even some greedy guessers.
