Praising Australia's gun laws and confiscation...since he is speaking of usurping the constitution which he has sworn to uphold, isn't this TREASON ?

Normally I'm pretty against all the hate Obama gets for his policies (mostly because I think most are good policies, but that's wicked off topic), but this is completely insane. Banning all long guns as a good model? It's not like it could happen, but it's still a preposterous suggestion. The biggest "screw you" to hunters everywhere

Somebody need to arrest the bastard for the gitmo jail break he pulled off .. I am not political minded but I have been getting things in the mail for years about all the things he has pushed through without congress etc . Screw sending a donation and filling out some poll. Time to do something ..

Many people in our country were ambivalent regarding Mr. Obama in 2008 and 2012.

To me and some others his view of the world, esp. guns, was obvious. Stating I'm voting for Guy X, even though I know he's not good on guns, because the rest of the government or congress will never pass it is something WE in the gun community simply cannot afford to do. Give them an inch, they will take a mile.

this is blitzkrieg...

he's just using 1 scandal,1 controversy, one lawless obserdity after another to distract from the prior one. last week it was bergdahl, this week it's dumping illegal and criminal aliens in border states. This <removed> practically has Mexican media outlets advertising that he has stopped deporting people and that he's going to get amnesty for them! the current crisis at the border is 100% manufactured by Obama and his regime, 100%!! but what better way to distract against THAT scandal than to say he's going to act unilaterally on gun control without Congress next week, beautiful! I'm surprised the secret service hasn't turned on this treasonous imposter yet

And I might add... Australia is moving as far away from Obama as possible on many issues, mainly recently on the globull warming scam. What an excellent, timely, and astute <removed> to Obama should Australia strike down that ridiculous ban and bring back long guns and semi autos for the good people down under. Good day mate!

Ok, several points:

1) Nothing really to "see" here. Yeah, he's the same guy he always was, and now doesn't much care what more moderate folks think about what he says because he's a lame duck and politically impotent. His whole party is politically impotent on gun control so he can rant and rave and pitch whatever fit he wants at this point, it doesn't matter. It's almost surprising he found someone to sit and listen to him blather about it.

2) This latest word is now being discussed in like three or four different threads so this one's pretty redundant.

3) This is drifting into random politics (of course) and we don't do random politics.
