Morning bird hunt.

Took the goofy Chesapeake retriever out grouse hunting for the first time... she did quite well flushing and retrieving birds, Saw 15 grouse in 3hrs and Bagged my limit of 4, Not a bad way to start the day.

Wow I'm jealous. Nice day out for sure!
What's the story with those clear-cut trees? The other pics look like there was some clear-cutting with planting afterward.. I'm not a forester, just curious.
