Depending on how you want to carry, holster, inside the waist, pocket carry (IMHO, not a good idea) and weight will help determine the pistol that best fits your needs.
The Kel Tec PF9 is a decent pistol, mine was very reliable, but I have a Walther PPS that I carry almost daily, my other carry is a Kahr CW380, depending on circumstances.
If you decide on a 'double stack', hard to beat a Glock. Since I own, carry or shoot all three mentioned, I can recommend them. I will not comment on weapons I haven't shot.
