Questions for Daniel Defense AR owners.....

Is it true that earlier models (2009) of DD rifles didn't have the Daniel Defense logo etched on the bolt carrier, as they do know?
Also, shouldn't there be a "MP" stamped into the bolt, indicating it's been magnetic particle inspected ,regardless of age?
Any factual info is much appreciated.....

Many thanks for the replies guys. I got conflicting info on this question, on two forums, and from my research on the interwebz, so I just sent an e-mail to the manufacturer (and to their credit, they got back to me in about 30 minutes!!)
Here's the reply........


Our original BCGs, whether in a complete rifle or a complete upper, did
not have our logo lasered on to them, nor did they have MP/ HP stamping.
We started doing that around 2010/2011 time frame. Thanks for purchasing
a DD. Hope you enjoy it.
