Or, and this is just as an aside, perhaps name him after the person that taught you to shoot. That way it represents firearms use and honors someone that care enough to teach you.

If you like to hunt you could name him Boone Crockett. B.C. would make a good nickname.

There's a kid here named Garand. Pronounced the way John Garand did.

When I saw this thread, I KNEW it would be all over the map! Inasmuch as my oldest son is in his middle 50's now, and the youngest is almost 50, I haven't had any need of "thinking up" clever names for boys in quite some time now, but "back in the day", I was very good at this!

My oldest is: Alec Christopher C

A.C. has been with the U.S.N. (as a civilian E.E. ) for something like 23 or 24 yrs now.

The youngest, (Ed ), is: Edmund Grayson Maximilian Constantine C

Ed is a geologist & vulcanologist, and has something to do with predicting when volcanos are most likely to....."erupt"?

My advice; pick a big long one; by the time he's "of age", he'll know which one he wants to "go with"; (Ed has been "Grayson" for about 30 yrs now, but I still call him "Ed" )
