Sometimes in the winter I carry a Browning Hi-Power in a Miami Vice shoulder holster. Comfortable and sometimes I forget it is there. Years ago I carried a 4" Security Six with combat grips in a Roy's shoulder holster. Too bad they went under. That was the most comfortable holster that I have had.

Only G17 in Glock sports holster or rarely Fobus paddle. I have my reservations about using Fobus but it is very comfortable and convenient.

I do have an IWB holster for it (Galco that's universal for G17 and my G26) but the barrel is too long to sit comfortably.

And I wouldn't even try it in summer. That grip sticks out like crazy.

In the past...

5" steel 1911 or 4" N-frame...in the winter time.

These days...Kahr PM9 pocket carry (summer) or Kahr P45 or 4" alloy framed 1911 (winter).

Ruger Super Blackhawk, .44 Mag, 7.5" barrel. I don't even remember what the concatenation of circumstances was, but somehow, even though I had several guns handy, and several calibers of ammunition handy, all the ammo was for other guns, except for a box of .44 Spl. When I got called in to work, in an unpleasant part of town, that was the only thing I could load. So I loaded up, stuck it in the inside breast pocket of my leather jacket, and off I went. So technically, you could say I pocket carried it. Lol

A S&W model 28-2 Mexican style in the small of the back with a jacket. It was in my range bag in my truck when I had to run an errand, so I just shoved it in my pants and went. Not something I would recommend for every day.
