I'd call it 80-90%. Its got some light surface rust where the serial # was engraved on the fronstrap and and some minor scratches on the grip other than that it is clean.
He asked if I'd take it off his hands for $400 after I told him I really didn't need another handgun. I think I'll take it off his hand for $400 if they're selling for much more now. Thanks.
I've got a co-worker who just offered to sell me his Hi-Power. I checked the gun out, it was made in 1981 and is about 80-90% condition. What would be a fair price? This is a plane jane model by the way made by FN.
Have you considered the izula 2? Same size blade but with a longer handle. I have 2 of the original izula knives and love them. I put scales on both of mine and it really makes a difference in how the knife feels. The one I carry most has the esee micarta scales and my other has a set of G10...
Are you restricted by capacity? If not I would pick the shotgun followed by a high capacity .380 like the Bersa thunder plus, I believe it holds 14 rds.
Personally I opt more for concealed carry than open but that is due more to the fact that I like iwb carry as your holster doesn't catch on things as much like it does when worn openly
I see no real disadvantage to open carry. I find it very unlikely you will be targeted when openly carrying...
When walking in public your gong to run the risk of coming in contact with someone, the only thing you can do is try your best to assess the threat level of someone getting within close vicinity. An old man in a hoveround...Most likely not a threat. A group of rowdy teens watching you...Take a...
[Rubs hands together eagerly] Can we!?
I like it. To be honest I got the H.E.S.T. for two reasons. I really liked the prybar pommel feature since it saves me from having to use the blade in such a fashion, and it just looked cool.
My only real gripe is the sheath it didn't offer enough...
You guys warned me. You told me not to do it. I said I knew what I was doing, that I could handle it. It was fine at first and then it just got out of control. I told myself I can quit anytime I want, I told myself I don't need more. What a slippery slope I've went down. I don't even know who I...
Thanks for the replies everyone. I was leaning more toward the secure the children and take cover option myself but could see how many would see that as a justifiable option. I read that the shootout occured over a domestic dispute and that it was two different families fighting about a recent...
There was a shooting earlier this week in my town. It happened just up the road from where I live. Apparently a group of guys were walking down the road and got into a gunfight with several individuals who were driving by in a car. The guys ran to a yard and exchanged gunfire with the guys in...
Pretty cool. I have thought about doing something similar myself. Thanks for posting pics of how you did it. I have a Draco and have toyed with the idea of keeping it in my car as an emergency or worst case scenario weapon. The trunk of a car may not be the most ideal place to have to access a...
Have you considered one of the alternative sheaths that ka-bar sells? The plastic or kydex sheath they have should easily be worn horizontily. I use belt keepers when I wear a knife in this fashion. I slip them through the slots for the web attatchments and then snap them on to the belt. I wear...
Thanks for the advice guys. Since Rowen makes both brands (TOPS and ESEE) do they stack up pretty evenly or are they made to different specs? I ask because I have some extra cash and I may still pick up the TOPS and maybe a mule since 451 Detonics just had to post that pic of the mule:D.
Ordered the ESEE today.
A friend of mine told me today that I should have ordered the Rat3 from Ontario instead and saved myself some cash. I compared the specs of the two and they seem pretty much the same, is there something ESEE does to their knives that makes them that much better? If...
I'm leaning more toward the ESEE at the moment. I'm curious if the difference in the shape of the blades would give one the advantage of being more adaptable to different types of tasks than the other.
I've been going back and forth on a new EDC fixed blade knife. I've narrowed it down to these two knives. I may get both eventually:D. Can anyone provide input or experience with either knife. The knife will be used for moderate chores most of the time but I like knowing it can handle rougher...
