My RRA 1/9 has shot anything I've put in it pretty well, but so far does the best 69gr Remington HPBTs.

I picked up a Leapers UTG 3.9" Red/Green dot about 6 months ago from CTD for about $50. Have been very happy with it. Zeroed easily and has held zero through about 200 rounds so far. Came with a low profile QD mount and a cantilever QD mount.

My former agency's SOP was no firearms in the ambulance. Not even LEO. We had lock boxes in the back where the LEO would place his firearm if he were accompanying in the back of the ambulance. Most times he would give it to another LEO who is following in a patrol car.

Yeah, just leave it at home. Any exemptions in the NJ firearms laws are up for interpretation at the whim of the police, prosecutors and judges on an individual basis. Basically you could follow the letter of the law and still get thrown in the big house. It just happened recently.
My only problem with the ad is that they didn't take the time to make sure the pictures were accurate. If they had they wouldn't have used a picture of Forrest Whitaker playing Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland.
I have one of The Garand Guy's premium shooters also and it's an amazing rifle. I don't have the Kreiger barrel because I opted for one that had an earlier S/N (SA May 1943). The barrel still had a TE of 2.
One thing I still can't figure out (not that there is any real sense made by NJ law) is why the M1 Carbine is illegal. Many models have no pistol grip, no bayonet lug, no flash suppressor/threaded barrel, no collapsible stock. Nothing in the SSRNJ's "evil" looks category.
