Pistol suppressor aren't rated for the high velocities of rifles. Though some people run subsonic 300BLK through their 9mm/.45 suppressors, you shouldn't run supersonic high power rifle rounds through them.

No you don't have to stick with it, but if you ever get rid of the setup you have listed on your paperwork, you need to call and let the ATF know. You can use any other calibers on that SBR receiver. It's recommended you keep it stored however you have it set up on the paperwork.
AR10 you'll be limited to 308, if you go AR15, you could go with different uppers in the future. 6.8SPC AR15 may be ideal for you, can do the range and still have some stopping power.
Like weenie said, you'll most likely want another AR rifle in the end.
