Band of Brothers has been mentioned, but if you get a chance watch "the Pacific" (another HBO miniseries) as well. Not as good as BOB in my opinion but well worth watching.
Hey bigfatdave...well the holster actually fits well, it's still just pretty tight. I've been sitting and just drawing and re-holstering while watching tv to get it loosened up. I'm using just a fairly thick leather belt. It supports the weight just fine but its not really a stiff belt, if...
My ccw is a Glock 19 in a leather Bianchi IWB holster. When the holster is out the gun comes out all right (still being broken in) but when the combo is actually in my waistband, it's very sticky drawing the gun. Instead of the gun coming out cleanly, the holster wants to pull out or pull up...
So you're saying that hunting is the only source of revenue for conserving wildlife? Give me a break. I know you may think you're the final word on African wildlife conservation, but you can't tell me about how I need to be "educated" when I guarantee that you don't know the entire story...
I know what carrying capacity is and obviously from my post, Art, I know that it is illegal to hunt apes, thats why I said IF it was legal. We don't all share the same opinions, so don't talk down to me as though I'm ignorant because my opinion differs from yours.
Contrary to the popular...
I don't think that what they did necessarily makes them anti-hunting.
I think taking a few deer for the freezer and just killin' stuff for the experience are completely different things.
A lot of people are uncomfortable with the idea of folks flying thousands of miles just to kill...
Hey, you know what I am extremely tolerant as long as there is no suffering involved. If you have the right to use a Bible verse as an argument for killing whatever you want without remorse, I have just as much right to argue against it using whatever I personally believe.
Wow, more coyote talk!
Come on...a coyote doesn't know what it is doing, it doesn't know what suffering is...it just wants a meal, and it is eating what is available to it. If a predator doesn't completely kill its prey, it's not because it is evil. I still can't believe some people think...
She's a rough lookin old girl!
I don't think Taurus will be able to tell you anything, I called them about my old 65 several years ago, they couldn't tell me anything about it.
Not to hijack your thread, but does anyone know anything about my Taurus 65? I think its from the 80's...
I've never lived there, but it seems to me that Utah is a great place for gun-type people. Not too far from CA. Wish I could help more, but good luck to you.
LuckyGunner.com right now has 124gr +p Golden Saber Bonded for $32.50/50 rounds. It shoots very well for me, and that is a pretty decent price for 50 rounds of bonded +p. They also have it at $315.00 for 500 rounds.
I really like the bonded and non-bonded Golden Saber +p's. Also (I may...
I found some reviews on the 7x57 loads and people seem to think they work pretty well. I'll just have to see how well they group! Someone mentioned on some other website forum that the 30-06 S&B loads have a thinner rim than American loadings and don't extract very well. We'll see.
Yep, this one is for sure. I don't like how the ballistic plex reticle is marked off for slugs and muzzleloaders though, it looks like THAT is why they call it Shotgun/Muzzleloader. That should really be in the product descriptions. I'm using it anyway, I like 2-7x and it seems like a pretty...
