Shes probobbly right, I go to Irvine, Kentucky every summer and I've seen one twice. The first time we saw one running across my grandfathers tobacco field and the second time was when we were fishing on Station Camp Creek and we saw it running away from the banks toward the woods.
I still can't get over how close the shot was...the snow was pouring (kentucky) and we got 2 shots off but we were startled and missed barely...man it was a letdown.
Me and my friend were out walking around the woods on his property and came very close to killing one? But how do you clean them, attract them, and whats a good recipe. Also, the same thing with squirrels.
We are using a semi-auto and a single shot .22 lr
My Christmas Gifts...and knives I have.

Yea I'm a ususal ticket to a gun show here in Kentucky, I go to almost every one at heritage hall in Lexington. There is another one in January and I'm more than likely getting a shotgun for christmas so at this coming show I will be looking for a revolver or rifle like a 30-30 or 30-06.
I'll be hunting squirrel in eastern kentucky on the top of a mountain where my grandfather is taking me, he has lived in those mountains his entire life and has taken many squirrels up there. We will probobbly be out for a couple of hours.
Hey Guys,
I will be going hunting soon for the first time and I'm just curious of all the things I will need besides my gun of course and how many shells should I bring.
I would love it if they were put into a list.
Thanks in advance for the help...I always seem to get the advice I'm...
Ron,
I did see on your profile that you are a retired service member and I would just like to thank you for everything you have done for this country and for protecting the rights of a young citizen like me.
God Bless You
Thanks again for all your help, the countdown will be starting until I get to taste beaver for the first time to kick off my squirrel hunting weekend. So I will get back to you on the 30th about it. If you have anything else to add or someone reads this and wants to post again that would be great.
Hey,
I have been unfortunate to not ever see a lot of historic, rare, and other weapons like that. So, I think you know what to do, post some pictures.
And I'll post back to tell you what i think.
How do you guys feel about eating beaver. Some guys were trapping on my grandfathers farm in the creek (Station Camp in KY) and offered us some beaver to eat. So they cleaned some and brought it too us, I will be eating this on the 28th before we go squirrel hunting.
Thoughts, Suggestions...

My grandfather have me an old camillus knive with an ivory handle. But I've got a few things i need to fix. There is some stuff kind of caked on the blade and the handle needs to be polished a little bit.
