I took my first lesson a couple weeks ago on shooting clays. Could not hit anything with both eyes open; lot better with one eye. I wear progressive lenses now. I was suggested that I get a pair of shooting glasses with just a regular lense instead of the progressive. What are your thoughts?
Went out yesterday with my new Beretta 686 to shoot some clays. I am 52 but have never shot sporting clays before. I came across a huge problem. The first box or so of shells had no shot in them only "kick" :what:
You ever had this problem? :D
I am looking to get into some clays shooting; just for fun not competition for now. I will probably get an O/U in 28" or 30". I am in my mid 50's and really have only shot a shotgun a few times in my life; always been a handgun shooter. Would I be just as happy with a 20guage as a 12? Also...
I have been looking for a "nice" shotgun. I have a chance to get a NIB Beretta Teknys 20. I am not very familiar with shotguns, mostly handguns. Is this a good gun? Tell me a little about it. It is a very nice, different looking gun to me. Price is $1700, is this ok? Thanks for the help.
Unless I change my mind I am going to get me a new Glock. Either a 19 or 23 have not decided yet. For those of you that have Glocks; which would you choose; the proven Gen 3 or the new Gen 4? And for what reasons? (I know the Gen 4 in 23 is still a little wait in most all shops).
Have a friend that wants me to sell his rifle for him. It is a Savage Model 12 in 223, heavy, stainless, flutted barrel. It has a Nikon Monarch UCC 6.5X20 scope on it with a Leapold base. The wood stock is beautiful. Gun does not appear to have many rounds thru it. Does anyone know the value...
Looking for a new handgun; if cost is of no concern, which one would you rather have and why? Not looking for a CCW just a new handgun for the range and home defense and night stand!
I purchased a Microtech knife several years ago; I would like to get some info on. The knife is never used, manual operation, has M-Socom over Microtech in a circle, has 9/98 to the side of the circle. It has a black blade and is a combo blade. Does anyone have any info? It has a cloth...
I would like to find the value of my 239 stainless so that I can aquire the funds towards the purchase of a 1911. The 239 is in excellant condition, it is all blue, solid guide rod added, has night sights, comes with 5 mags and is in 357 sig. Thanks for any help you can give.
Anyone have either or both? I'm trying to decide between the two. It will mainly be a house/truck/range gun; maybe a CCW piece but only on a very limited bases; I have other guns for that purpose.
Thanks
What are your thoughts on having a trigger job, not for a "light" trigger just to smooth the action and still keep a "self defense" pull? This will be a CCW in a pocket holster most of the time; but still in some type of holster the rest of the time. Thanks
I have had my Pocket Nine on the trading post for a couple of weeks, not any interest there :banghead: so, it looks like I will be keeping it for now. Does anyone know of any night sights that I can get to put on it that will work without any major gunsmithings? Thanks in advance for the help!
I am about to list my Colt Pocket Nine on the HighRoad trading post. It has been fired about 50 times, has box, all paperwork and extra Colt mags, what would be a fair (to me and the buyer) asking price? :)
