Savage Model 12

Have a friend that wants me to sell his rifle for him. It is a Savage Model 12 in 223, heavy,stainless, flutted barrel. It has a Nikon Monarch UCC 6.5X20 scope on it with a Leapold base. The wood stock is beautiful. Gun does not appear to have many rounds thru it. Does anyone know the value of this gun and scope? I'm more into handguns than rifles. Thanks for any help!!

Need more info on the rifle, model series, stock info and if you can, the year of manufacture....the scope, used, in excellent to like new condition, both internally and externally, is in the neighborhood of $150 to $200.
