When you just pulled that shot out of the group? Me either..
UNTIL
I lost my concentration and ......OOOPS
BCA stainless heavy barrel 223wylde,
LC 23 brass, 22.1 gr mp540, RMR 75gr 3gh. 2.2515
LaRue mbt 2s trigger and sightron 4x16 with 1/8 moa dot.
If I can replicate that 4 shot group...
When I started shooting double stack 9s I quickly realized I wanted, maybe even needed, a loader. I went with maglula. I have no regrets. When I decided I wanted a tool to strip ar mags, maglula again. It just works.
If you're bound and determined to refinish that rifle, look into slow rust bluing. It uses very little in the way of chemicals and leaves a durable attractive finish that compliments older firearms.
The only "weaver" scope I ever had was one of their nitrex branded scopes. I loved it. But one day I was shooting my 308 and the windage knob sheared right off. They replaced it (pro rated) with a legend series scope. I had to kick in a little money. That scope is just OK. I haven't seen...
I've been noticing primers have been "on the shelf" online as well. They haven't sold out in hours or days and the price has been trending down the longer they sit. I don't think it's going to last though given geopolitics and domestic politics.
I just ordered 500 more of these from @longdayjake along with 500 9mm bullets. 1 was going to order 500 185gr 45 caliber nukes but I didn't see them on the website. I must have just been in a hurry and missed them. 😁
There is 10% off through the rest of the day.

Hows this for a plan? Buy a PSA dagger compact with RMR cut slide, with 3 genuine glock mags and a swampfox liberty RDS. I haven't done the math but I think a body would be into it for less than the g19 MOS
Just thinking out loud.
I actually went and did the math. It leaves you with enough...
I'm always just curious how much accuracy I can wring out of a gun. This is certainly enough accuracy for paper targets and ringing steel out to 600.
As for deer, I find the idea of shooting one with my AR and this bullet interesting, but not to the point where I'd actually do it. The 250...
Lasers actually project the dot onto the target itself. The target looks down at his shirt and he see a red dot.
Red dot sights have a red dot on a glass screen. The shooter sees the dot but the target itself doesn't actually have a dot on it.
Make sense?
Extruded. Americanreloading.com. No chrono data yet. Burn rate appears to be around 8208xbr or N135 according to these guys http://natoreloading.com/MP540/
Wwwweeeeelllll it doesn't project any kind of dot on the target. You see the dot super imposed on the target in the site. Maybe if it's pointing at you you could also see the dot..... but I don't know.
If your ranges for deer are short (200yds or less) use heavy, and or controlled expansion bullets. The 243 got a bad rap as a deer cartridge due to bad bullet/bad bullet choices.
I'm just going to throw this out there.
For ranges under 100yds, have you considered slowing everything down? Way down. 30-30 or at most 300 savage speeds?
