Ever see the claws on a black? They don't need to be armed or teethed any further to kill humans. Your guilt shame attempt here is really beneath us.
Yes, escorting fishers as a paid guide. I owe them a safe experience as I can give them too, so the sidearm. The only time I have ever been attacked was by a skunk with distemper, and I had to beat it to death with a piece of driftwood and a camp shovel. Never again.
Part-time summer job, so...
I've seen everything used from .44 percussion revolvers to sawed off shotguns. I was thinking of getting a Glock 41 in 45ACP w/5.5" bbl. Anyone guided in UP Michigan trout streams? Typical encounter is black bear, sometimes wolves.
The principle downside of the M1, beside the price, is that the ammo is hard to come by bc no other weapons use it beside the M1. I think th HP is the better choice for just that reason.
I was looking for something to fight with in the event of a "home invasion" type robbery. The HP uses the same ammo as my pistol and is cheaper. That was my thinking process.
Thanks for the input gentlemen. I'll try the oil mold thing and if that doesn't work I will shop for a new holster. I can't swing a new pistol right now. I tow cars in the Detroit area nights and it gets hairy sometimes. People don't like their cars towed.
Never have understood the logic of this gun. A semi-automatic in 45ACP holds more shots, reloads faster, and doesn't require goofing around with any "1/2/full moon" clips. Nice photograph though.
A used Smith model 66 or 19 is a better gun and a better value if you could get them for the same price. But if you're a Colt collector it is a nice get. Colt's from that era have terrible triggers in my opinion but if you only want it for your collection then who cares? Congrats.
I've had three Troopers over the years. I'd get the six inch; it will hold it's value better because it is more rare. The Trooper MK III series are beautiful looking pieces of craftsmanship but are not as good for actual shooting as a comparable Ruger or S&W IMO.
