Not all Mosins are inaccurate. A few years ago there was a Winter Shooting Event with local guys on who could score the highest shooting 10 rounds out of a milsurp at 100 yards. I won that event with a 91/30 using heavy ball shooting a 98 3x. The combo just just worked. Nobody was more...
That is the choice I'm looking at right now. I only have funds for one or I'd buy them both. Uzi is more expensive but comes with a ton of mags. On the other side a 45/70 lever gun has been on my want list for some time now. Uzi or Winchester, Winchester or Uzi. Might have to flip a...
Just picked up a beautiful S&W Moldel 15-2 in Nickel with a 2" barrel. Don't see too many of these around anymore. No chance it wasn't coming home with me.
Wow! Nice find and it looks to be in great condition. If it hasn't been reblued at some point it was definitely a safe queen. I'd have swooped that up as well.
Definitely this! Running full load 45 acp through a trimmed down Webley is the fastest way to turn your Webley into a grenade. I run reduce power 45 Auto Rim ammo through it with no issue.
This is from another forum from a guy that ran full loads 45s through his Webley. Not a good outcome!
So I've always wanted a Longslide 1911 and this AMT has shown up on my radar and I'm on the fence on whether I should bid on it or not. I've handled some AMT backups and they seemed not that great. Anyone know what their 1911s are like? If I do bid on it I don't think I'm going to go too much...
Not concerned about steel at all. Shoot a ton of it through my AKs. My concern is more the low cost and lack of real review of the Sterling ammo. Turkish ammo hasn't had the best reputation in the past so concerned it might be junk ammo.
I find that most new guns bore the hell out of me. I went through a phase when I was newer at this were I bought all kinds of guns just to have "guns". Now I find myself unloading them as they just don't interest me. I'll take a vintage gun anyday over many of the modern offerings nowadays.
One of the online retailers I use has Sterling 7.62x39 in stock at $0.50 a round. Unfortunately that's a good price nowadays but I've never heard of this brand. Seems it's out of Turkey and there isn't much in regards to reviews as of yet. Anyone try this ammo yet and if so, how did you...
Later this year we're driving down to Alabama and Georgia to visit friends over a couple weeks. I'll only be bringing along my bug gun that I pocket carry. I should be fine with my little .380 for a few weeks.
The way I see it prices haven't bounced back from the last big spike. Sure there's been some movement but as always the prices have stayed high. All you have to do is look at the availability right now of popular calibers like 223, 7.62x39 and 357 Mag to see the prices are still fairly high...
I do. I carry a Keltec P3AT in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster in my left back jeans pocket. I practice drawing it from there and can do it rather swiftly if needed. Not a problem. Also, it's no more uncomfortable then carrying my wallet in the other back pocket. Most times I forget it's...
So I have my dad's old Winchester Model 12 sitting in the safe collecting dust and I'm seriously considering converting it into a WWI Trench Gun. I have a Heat Shield/Bayo Lug that will fit it as well as the tube plug needed to mount the heat shield sitting collecting dust also. The only problem...
