I apologize if this has been discussed. I was unable to locate any info on the site.
I am converting 7.62x39 brass to 6.5 grendel. I have sized and ready for firing. I measured neck wall thickness to vary between 0.010-0.014" on all cases measured. Not surprising since it was necked down. Have...
I am the process of fireforming 7.62x39 to 6.5 grendel. It appears the general consesus is to go to the minimum advertised powder charge. I did some measuring using AA 9 as it is a fine grain powder.
Brand new unfired Starline 6.5 grendel would hold 33 gr of AA 9.
Unfired but formed 6.5 grendel...
I plan on fireforming 7.62x39 into 6. grendel. I know this is not optimal but gonna do it anyway. I have 123 gr. projectiles and plan on using IMR 4895 for fireforming. I already have resized the 7.62x39 brass. I would like to know how much powder is needed to fully fireform. I have fireformed...
I am looking to reform 7.62x39 brass to 6.5 grendel. I've got a lot of 7.62x39 brass. I will be resizing using Lee dies. It appears grendel has less taper than 7.62. Looking for suggestions.
I have hornady 123 gr 6.5. What is a good way to fireform after resizing?
TIA
Just got the bug. Picked up a 6.5 Grendel #2 upper from BCR. I'm looking for a once fired or new 6.5 Grendel brass. Anything out there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

I got my hands a 500 rd box of 135 gr. 308 SMK bullets. It appears that these are no longer made by Sierra. The only load data I can find came from a Sierra tech that said to use 150 gr load data.
Does any have any experience with these bullets. I can't shoot long as the bullet doesn't even sit...
Got my 1k order in today after 10 days in postal limbo. It's very aggravating watching it bounce around in my area. But now I have it.
This is where my OCD kicks in.
I'm one of those people that weighs all components prior to assembly.
I haven't finished yet on the bullets but I have about 1/2...
Does anyone have a preferred recipe to get the most velocity out of a 2 1/2 inch barrel. I realize a faster powder will give best velocity in a short barrel. Just looking for best powder and maybe a good load.
TIA
If this has been covered I apologize. Did a search with no real results. Lately I have been coming across more Frontier 223 and Hornady 223 brass. Does anyone have any experience/opinions on these. I primarily use LC and FC for my accuracy loads. All input greatly appreciated.
I am your typical brass whore. I have a connection at a range and can get all the brass I can eat. Recently I was able to locate a substantial amount of LC 5.56 brass. I noticed that there were a few pieces with dates 19 and 20 which looked different from earlier dated brass.
Any one have any...
I got my hands on a bucket of range brass. I found about 100 pieces of Blazer 10mm with SPPs.
The brass was exceptionally dirty on the exterior with what looked like a very minimal glock smile.
Has anyone done any reloading with this brass?
TIA
I would like to hear your thoughts and experiences with using oversized lead bullets in rifles. I have some lead bullets that larger than the copper jacketed bullets that I have used in the past. I would like to know your experiences with lead that might be up to 0.004" over copper jacketed...
I hope I'm the correct forum. I am selling my M1 Garand and all the ammo I have that goes with it. I could use some help pricing some of the ammo. I have a 30 cal ammo can with the original 280 rounds M-2 ammo on clips. What is a good price. I already have someone interested in buying everything...
I may be in the wrong forum and I apologize. I have a rem 1187 Police shotgun with 1 round through it. It has a little rust in the end of the barrel. I have a rem 1100 which has an unknown round count. I have someone I know who is interested in buying both, I am just looking for a fair price to...
Ok. This may be absurd but I'm gonna ask. Has anyone tried to clean cases with stainless pins in a vibratory tumbler that would normally be used in a wet tumbler?
