Fireforming with Trailboss

Has anyone tried fireforming with trailboss? Will it generate enough pressure to completely form the case?

What case? Fireform to what? What firearm? What bullet? What charge?

You need charges of about 10k psi / CUP and higher as a thumb rule to fire form. So basically starting loads work.

Starting loads with Trailboss, 110 grain bullet, 300 Blackout is about 12.5k psi, as one example.

Fireforming 6.5 grendel from 7.62x39 using hornady 123gr

Form Winchester 250 Savage brass for the wife’s Model 99. Brass is short and chamber is huge. Set up to seat bullets so that it takes a bit of pressure on the lever to close. Load with trail boss and go have some low recoil fun!

Fireforming 6.5 grendel from 7.62x39 using hornady 123gr

It's a fast powder with a peak that you would want for forming. Tightgroup or any powder sold by the pound would be more cost effective.
