Anyone know how to reverse the button safety on a Winchester 1300 so it can be de-activated properly for a left-handed person? I have a tactical shotgun class coming up, and sadly never took into consideration the right-handed safety on my personal 1300.
I also have an 870 clone. Is there...
Just saw a blurb with a pic on pg 55 of the newest Shooting Illustrated magazine.
Have the clamorings of Kahr lovers wishing for a .45acp been answered?
Sorry, not the best pics. The GSR with VZgrips blasted canvas micarta from Sidearmor.net, and an Ed Brown tactical ambisafety:
Tactical stainless chopsticks:
Olympus stylus (the original one, 35mm), Fujicolor 100ASA, overhead kitchen lights.
I was reading Tuner's awesome FAQ and my Kimber certainly suffers from Stem Bind.
Looks like Brownell's/Midway/Natchez/Wilson Combat doesn't offer the .275" barrel link.
Anyone know of a place to order one?
My Kimber thanks you.
:)
I want to have a competent 'smith install an ambi-safety for my GSR, as I'm a lefty. I need a good machined or forged part, rather than MIM to keep with the pistol's theme. It also should be beadblasted stainless if possible. Would rather have it with equallly dimensioned levers, as opposed...
Here's my CZ75b turkish milsurp, and CZ85 transitional.
Not exactly up to Dr. Lunde standards, but then again, I'm using an old-school Leica 35mm, not one of them fancy digital cameras:
and the wife trying her best to look like Selene from Underworld. Look at the awesome trigger...
Methinks this would set a trend and rocket the sales of this strange yet alluring flatshooting ammo.
I think it would work in the 10/22 magnum receiver.
Is it available already?
Thoughts?
:)
With the exception of hard-to-find ammo, is there a really good reason to buy unfired brass vs. once-fired brass from factory ammo that has gone through my guns (as opposed to range pick-ups?).
It seems the trimming issue is a hinderance with the unfired cases, especially with handgun brass.
Seems like a lot of HK products have fluted chambers to aid in extraction of spent cases. Examples are the MP and G9x series, and the P7 handguns.
I notice a lot of soot from the 9mm spent casings after shooting my new P7, but don't see any deformities. Are they okay to reload?
:)
I know, dumb question. But aren't bullets like Berry's and Ranier just lead bullets with a soft copper plating, unlike normal jacketed bullets? And also, because these bullets tend to be .001" larger in diameter than your run-of-the-mill jacketed bullet, won't the copper lining expose lead...
I just ordered a Tikka whitetail hunter LH .308. Their website says that it has an integral rail for scope-mounting (is this the same as the SAKO rail?) and will also accept Weaver rings.
Will Weavers fit their rail or do I need to purchase special bases to use the weaver system? Are there...
Recently got a transitional CZ 85, dated 1994. I am the second owner.
Great pistol, and expected it to run like my CZ 75b.
However, I ran into a problem.
I put 250 rounds through it today after a proper clean and lube. The ammo was factory WIN white box, and 115gr handloads.
With...
Seems I've been using only the Dillon brand dies with my 550b since I got mine a couple years ago.
I have other pistol caliber dies (mostly RCBS and Redding) that have been used extensively on a single stage. They don't have the wider openings that the manufacturers say is necessary for...
Trying to simplify my common loads. I hate cleaning the built-up carbon fouling that gets in the grooves. very frustrating.
What is the cleanest (i.e. easy cleaning the bbl after shooting) 230FMJ load you guys use? Full-power or light-recoil loads....doesn't matter to me. My common...
Since I didn't like the results with Titegroup and .45acp (gonna stick with Clays), I need to burn up the remaining powder.
I have a bunch of 9mm Hornady 115gr TMJ bullets....what would be a good charge weight of Titegroup....is 4.5gr too low? I want a good clean burn, but don't want to risk...
