Thanks so much for the repair!!
Michael;
I e-mailed you yesterday to say thanks. Today I FINALLY got back to THR and after going through ALL the posts on this thread I realized I had never posted back here as to my experience with the repair that I asked for last year. For that I apologize...
CZ 52 sights
LoneCoon:
Nice idea!! Looks pretty neat. I'll wait for your dimensions. I have a machinist friend who might be willing to do the work for me. I'm glad you posted your design, it should work better than what I have, now.
Mike 56: What kind of 9mm barrel did you get. I...
Regarding the Hi-Power
Beautiful pictures, guys!!
Your hi-powers are much newer than mine. I purchased mine used in 1975. Since then I've poured more than 20,000 rounds through it with no problems at all. EXTREMELY ACCURATE!! with any bullet configuration. I couldn't ask for a more...
Sights
Old Ironsights:
Thanks for the info but I alrady tried that. Unfortunately, the West Nile Virus I got last fall has messed with the eyes enough that it is going to take something a bit larger/brighter, I guess. I changed the sights on my Browning HP to night sights and that has me back...
About Paints and Painting
Brigadier:
I happened to remember that I have some Kustom Kolor military color paints from the House of Kolor that are brush-on/ air brush type. They are in a complete military paint assortment
They look to be quality paints for model builders, kind of like Testors...
Did you get the batteries for your calipers, yet?
Hey, Brigadier:
Long time no hear from.
I e-mailed you but I don't know if you got it.
Anyway, if you have the height of the rear sight for the 52 I sure could use it. I still want to get the night sites installed and I have the front but...
LEE and Reloading
H1500308:
I have been reloading for about 40 years, starting out with a Lee (not the same company as now) hand loader where you used a hammer. I thought that was pretty cool, being in college and all and short of money. Then I went to RCBS's Rock Chucker kit. That was...
Just e-mail me
Brigadier:
Don't know what the problem is. I got your post about the PM block. Just e-mail me. By the way, I put up a URL in my profile that has a pile of stuff in it about the wife and me. It's a few years old but it will give you an idea as to what we used to do and what I...
I'm Back! New Address!!
Ok, I'm back. I hope that I don't have to change addresses again soon. What a pain!!
I finally got a chance to see the pics of your 52, Brig. BEEYOUTEEFUL!!!!!
Man what a great job you did! I don't think I'll ever get to doing that but it sure looks great!
Woad...
Bhp: Fantastic!!
I have owned a Belgian made HP 9mm for over 30 years and after carrying it for duty and protection I can honestly say that it is by far and away the best firearm (handgun) I've ever been blessed to shoot!
It is extremely accurate with many loads, Handloading will get you in the...
Reply to Charles Daly
Mr. Kassner;
I am looking forward to your PM. I REALLY like the CD 1911 ECS!!!! The weight is right and, as I said it groups beautifully. It is a fine product and all of them I have seen at the gun shop, Rocky Mtn. Discount Sports in Riverton, Wy. have been well...
Michael,
Glad to see you're interest!
I have a Charles Daly field grade 1911 45ACP ECS purchased new. This is one of the finest grouping firearms I own. It will group seven 185 gr Reminigton Golden Sabres in less than an inch at 20 yards. I am handicapped and for me that is damn good!!
I...
Re: Glock Replacement Barrel
I have a Glock 22 that I only shoot Hollow points in. But I wanted to shoot 9mms too. I got a Lone Wolf replacement 9mm match barrel. The fit is perfect, right price, threaded for a compensator and the accuracy is fantastic. There is no way that you can go wrong...

I am fairly handy w/tools. I just need to know which sights to mount. Brigadier's suggestion of the Baby Eagle rear night site and the Sig front sounded good and the prices from CDNN are good, too.
Which sites did you use?
Thanks for the info.

Hey, Thanks!!
I assume you've tried this combination. That gives me a good set of sights that I can see much better than the ones I have now.
I really appreciate all the help.
Happy New Year!!
MS
Thanks, DMK!
I'll check that out. I had a bad case of West Nile Virus last fall and it messed a bit with my eyes. Couldn't be that I'm getting older, either, I suppose.
Best wishes for a great New Year.
MS
Thanks, Atticus Thraxx;
I knew about the regular replacements. Was just hoping that somebody knew of where I could get better ones. The pistol shoots really well, better than I can, but with better sights I could probably do even better.
Again, Thanks and Here's wishing you all the best for...
