I ran into this recently when I realized I had 10000 Tula SPM stashed away. They shoot great in my 226, 229, and 239. In my two 320's I noticed that if they get seated deep then they will not go bang, drop it into one of my others and it fires perfectly. Striker fired pistols do seem to be more...
That exact ad is what got me looking into this sigsmoker, and as I delved deeper, I found more references to it but I cannot find anything concrete, yet.
Sig Sauer has them in their store here. But the photo shows a barrel that appears to be a P series not a Pro series. I have not been...
Have to say I think SVTOhio is spot on. If it were me and I did not want to reload, I would think real hard about what he said.
I decided some time back to standardize on a Sig as my HD/DC weapon, so while I have other pistols, when I train, it is only with one of my Sigs, be it my 2340, 229...
Ok, so I have looked everywhere for a 357 SIG barrel for my 2340 with no luck. I contacted Sig Sauer directly and have not heard back yet.
In my effort to track one down I have seen some anecdotal evidence that suggest that the barrels from a 2022 and a 2340 are interchangeable. Can anyone...
ATLDave, I am sure you are correct on that, I guess I just do not see the 9MM as having that much more recoil than a .22, but to be fair, the only .22 pistol I shoot is a WMR so it probably has a lot more recoil than a .22lr.
Just a thought but if you reload for the 9MM you can shoot almost as cheaply as you can for buying 22lr ammo and still get more reps with the gun you actually use.
Well thanks very much everyone, I contacted Bunker Arms and I am going to have it reparkerized. I am not overly concerned about value since it has more sentimental value than anything else.
So the floods in Baton Rouge hit us pretty hard, 8 feet of water in the house so I am sure you can imagine the damage. I think my blued Encore barrels may be toast and so I will be filing a claim for those. But I have no intention of filing a claim for the 1911A1 my father gave me.
It is...
I used walnut media with nu-finish for surface rust, also noticed that it acts as an inhibitor for future rust. I did not have anything heavy though, just rust from humidity and spots where I had touched it with my hands and did not wipe it off afterwards.
Heavy rust, not sure, I would...
I bought several thousand of these for training with Brian Hoffner, the farthest shot I have taken in his classes was 50 yards and 99% of it is 3-7 yds so these are cheap and work great for that.
I got a great deal on them several years ago. Not sure if I would buy them again since it seems...
I do what JamieC does for my .308. I put all the cases in a block and spray down at a 45 degree angle while turning the block. I let them sit for 10 minutes or so and then run them through my press. I have never had an issue. For .223 I just put a buttload into a tupperware container and spray...
I cheat by trimming my .223 to the minimum length, I lose them before they ever stretch too much or just wear out, usually primer pockets get too loose amd I scrap the brass. That way I only have to do all of that once, then I just load them as normal on my LCT.
Everyone is making relaoding 357 SIG sound like a nightmare, in reality it is easy, I started with it and .223, so for a long time all I knew were bottleneck cases.
Do you have to lube, in a word, no, you can use a .40 S&W resize die to size and deprime, then a 357 SIG die to neck size and...
With the exception of the brass, 9mm components are 357 SIG components and vice versa. Components for all 3 calibers are available, you just need to keep an eye out and buy when available.
