thanks rc the only book i have is hornadys 8th edition. there for i mainly load hornady bullets. it seems as if im not seating enough of the bullet in the case when seating at 2.690" i loaded a few at 48gr with varget powder and my OAL is 2.690. i will try them out tomorrow.
oh i loaded some other rounds up for my AR 15 with out a crimp and they seemed to load and function just fine. i shot two and ejected the third and i measured out just fine. thanks guys

ive been playing with hornady GMX bullets in my 300wsm. they compare to the barns triple x but its construction is 90% copper and 10% zinc making the bullet a little harder and shorter. weight retention is great with the gmx.
