I was wonder if anyone has compared the Type 53 chinese Mosin Nagant sight to the other variations thereof? I.e. 91/30, m44, m38 ect. which one does it most closely match if any? I am looking to get a muzzle brake for my t53 to both reduce recoil and to keep people from wanting to stand near me...
I talked with one of the guys that work there. The paying of the Dros each month is 2 fold. One part of it is incase you pay it off early but still after the initial 10 days you will be able to pick it up and secondly is to keep the dros active so one person cannot have multiple firearms able to...
Dealer Registry of Sales.
Cali and the ATF require the dealer to copy down all info related to a firearm sales transaction and they must matain the record for 20 years. Failure to do so will cost them their FFL and could lead to prison time.
We live "Behind the redwood curtain" and as such everything here costs alot more. Just to put it in perspective gas is $4.47 a gallon for regular and Milk is at about $3.70. and the reason they charge so much for incoming transfers is they dont want to get "Stuck" with a gun that Client X...

@NG I looked all through out the area that I could get to reasonably and came up with only 2 options the place I chose or the shooting range I go to either one marks up stuff...

I see a problem here. Zamak in any considerable amount to ensure a slide wont break weighs more than the equivalent steel. I mean hell my Hi-point slide weighs in at a neat 31.27oz. Just the slide alone weighs more than some Glocks fully assembled with a full mag.
Zamak does one thing really...
Are you sure its F M H ? If its F N H then its Fabrique Nationale. Famous for the Five Seven and the FNP 90.

Ill just throw it out there. You can get a Hi-point in 9mm Luger and some shot shells for under $200 at most places.
But otherwise Id go with the CZ and consider loading your own shot shells.
EDIT: BTW when you run out of ammo for the Hi-point you can use it as a hammer or club.
I have to fess up about something I knocked Taurus a few posts back and I am indeed sorry I may have offended any die hard Taurus owners.
But I have to point out one major thing a GOOD Gun must go bang every time the trigger is pulled. My Hi-point has done that for me and is still going...
Well Ive got it solid down between the Rock island 1911 A1 and the Springfield Armory XD9 service. $850 out the door for either of them. Includes case, 5 mags, mag holders, holster(Fobus Paddle style), and 2 boxes of 100 count ammo.
I was looking at a comparable Glock both the 17 and the 19...
I have to go with the Browning HP. It was the first 9mm HG I fired when I was 7 and every so often I get a chance to go out shooting with my Grandma where I get to use that very pistol.
