Scrolled through all these pics again. These guns are so beautiful, I thought I'd send this back to the top for a review. And maybe get some new pics added.
I still don't have anything that comes close to these. But they are sure nice to look at & dream about.
It is my understanding that a BBQ gun (didn't read the links) may well be used for impromptu competition at said BBQ. You might want to be able to use it well and it should be accurate or you will lose. If it's pretty, mo bedda.
tuckerdog1, thanks for bringing this thread to life. Going to BBQ at my son's in a bit. No BBQ gun so I'll just drop my Seecamp in my pocket and enjoy the food.tom.
Thanks. That is a S&W factory lettered original finish on the 29-2. These are referred to as Pintos, Half-Plates, and Two-Tones. Occasionally, for whatever reason, S&W made revolvers with the combo blue nickel finish.
It was shipped from the factory in May of 1975 to GT Distributors in Rossville GA.
Kind of Blued, that is without a doubt the most beautiful Colt Pocket Auto I've ever seen. My compliments to the owner. I have one, but it pales in comparison and was handed down to me by my late father.
This is the only thing that sorta qualifies as a BBQ gun:
