    Sigs

Greetings folks. I'm undergoing some hobby changes and want to sell my P220C SAO. I have it up for sale at this topic: <http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=278815> I'll be back to Sigs once I can afford them better. Moving from Florida (low cost of living) to Colorado (higher cost...

Pretty much, yeah. The first step in dealing with the disease (who would want to recover??!!) is accepting you have a problem. Hi. I'm John, and I'm a Sigoholic. Hi John... :p

    Sigs

I'm a dyed in the wool Sig fan, but don't let the idea of a plastic pistol without a safety bother you. The classic P series Sigs don't have safeties, and the SigPros are polymer without safeties. :p In fact safety equiped Sigs are fairly new (like my P220C SAO). My understanding is the...

I entered this morning. However I noticed they still have the two-tone P229 info on the page. :) John E.

The mailman brought me a surprise yesterday!! Milt Sparks VM2 & Sig P220C SAO Evidently Milt Sparks doesn't tell you when they've finished your holster; they just ship it. :p Ordered 12/6/2006, shipped 4/5/2007.

I wish I still had them all, but the only one still in my posession is the P220C SAO. :( I will replenish the collection one day. :)

    Sigs

Of all the Sigs I've loved before.... (pic intensive) I found some old pics that I thought I'd post for public amusement. :) P229 (357 Sig; my old carry) P228 Sig 45s :) P226 & P239 (357 Sig; my carry prior to the P229)

    Sigs

I owned a P245 for a while but sold it. Here's a pic: I found the grip much too small for me to shoot comfortably with the standard mag. With the extended 8 round mag it was fine, but then it's the same (grip) size as a standard P220. That being said, the only two Sigs I've found not to...

    Sigs

BTW, I found an article Massad Ayoob did on the P220 SAO: http://www.gunsmagazine.com/F02.html He mentions a review he did for another magazine on the P220 Carry SAO. I'd love to find that one also.

Thanks kindly! My wife and I are loving it. I'll check out coloradocarry. Regreets, Black Majik! Thanks for the complements on the P220C SAO; I haven't nearly enough of a chance to shoot it yet. I hope to fix that soon! :D

Sig fan here! Greets folks. A dedicated Sig fan here. My wife and I recently moved and unfortunately I had to sell off my P220ST to help pay for moving expenses. :( However, I kept this: (Precioussssssss P220C SAO with Siglites.... :p) I moved from Florida to Colorado so the cost...

    Old user, new location!

Greetings, folks! My wife and I recently relocated to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. :) I sold my P220ST to help finance the move, but I still have my P220C SAO and am looking for someplace to shoot it. Anyone in the Pagosa/Durango area have any tips on where to shoot?

    Initial Shots: SIG-Sauer P220 SAS .45 ACP...

varoadking: Thanks for posting that pic! I've been wondering what the Nill grips would look like on a P220C. :)

Which would you prefer? P220 or 1911??

P220 hands down If you just want SAO, they have it: Otherwise you can get CPO P220s for $500 or so. As for the discussion of DA/SA vs SA I liken it to learning to drive manual vs automatic shift. Sure, you can just always buy automatic cars but if you know both you're never...

It sounds great. Glad you've found something that suits you so well! Good luck with it. :)

    Initial Shots: SIG-Sauer P220 SAS .45 ACP...

Technically DAK is a double action only trigger as you don't have to cock the hammer. But functionally it's a pre-cock or partial cock trigger with a lighter pull than straight DAO. I've dry fired them and it's a very intriguing system; I want one to compare to the DA on my P220ST. :)

    Sig-Sauer Referd Program?

+1 on the CPOs I've purchased both CPO and new and have been very happy with the CPOs. At worse you'll find more 'Sig smileys' on the barrel. At best you'll get a near new gun for a much less than the new price.

    Someone tell me why...

Congrats! I know that feeling. I waited four months for my P220C SAO to come in, but it finally arrived yesterday. :D If I might make one suggestion: Until I've had a gun to the range and test fired it with both FMJ and carry ammo I wouldn't trust a new gun with defense duties. Perhaps...

    Initial Shots: SIG-Sauer P220 SAS .45 ACP...

I need a DAK... DAK is the only Sig trigger I don't own yet (other than DAO and I'm not interested in it). I just added a P220C SAO myself. I checked with Hogue and they don't make grips yet for the SAO. Nill however does have one set which fit...
