My favorite is my Springfield Armory XD 45 Tactical because it has such a smooth trigger, its accuracy, the 13 + 1 round capacity, and why else, it's a 45. My second favorite is a Firestar M45 because I like the way it feels in my hand.
In black bear country I carry my Ruger Blackhawk .357 Magnum, in grizzly bear country I do take my Taurus M44. Grizzly bears are a protected species so If I had to shoot a grizzly bear in self defense I wonder if my CCW insurance would defend me?
Back when I was a working stiff, there were times my job required me to work late at night in some of the worst inner city neighborhoods you could imagine. My little .25 Colt Junior was my best friend on those occasions and gave me a sense of security. My employer had a standing rule that if...

The trouble with those small pistols is the chance the web of skin between the thumb and index finger might be too high on the gun and when you fire it the slide cuts two nice groves in your skin. Normally slide bite only happens once in your life because you handle the gun with more respect...
The NAA .25 makes no sense to me. It uses proprietary ammo and it's built on the same frame as their 32 ACP. Why would anyone buy the .25 instead of the 32 ACP?
